The gîte, a duplex apartment covering 60 m2, occupies the lateral part of a typical village house dating from the early 20th century. The building was fully renovated in 1994 and the gîte was created in 2019. The interior is carefully decorated in line with hygge principles, lending it a restful Scandinavian atmosphere.

The gîte has its own separate entrance. The lounge on the ground floor contains a sofa bed, armchairs, a flat-screen television and the library. The upper floor is based on a loft design, with a fully fitted kitchen, a dining area, a floor-level shower, a toilet, a 180 X 200 bed and a reading corner with a superb view over the valley.

The accommodation is fully air-conditioned.

The kitchen is fitted with a combination oven, a dual induction hot plate, a refrigerator with freezer, a toaster, a kettle and a capsule coffee machine.

Various sorts of tea and coffee are provided.

The shower has a body and hair soap dispenser and a hair dryer.

A private area is at your disposal outside the gîte.

You can have your meals outside all day long and when evening comes, enjoy the low-angled light of the sunset from the comfort of the armchairs. A fire basket will keep you snug if your summer evenings are little cooler.

The breakfast platter is offered as an option and will be served at the time convenient to you. 

It consists exclusively of organic and local products: bread, pastries, seasonal fruit salad, home-made yoghurt, cheese and cold meats, home-baked treats and more.

This accommodation is run firmly along eco-responsible lines, with a concern to limit waste, use environmentally friendly products and give absolute priority to short circuits and local products. 

The concept behind this accommodation and its very name were born of a passion for books.

The gîte is unfortunately not suitable for people of reduced mobility owing to its configuration.

Although loved, animals are not permitted and this is a strictly non-smoking area.
